Please read these terms carefully before booking. They apply to every wedding and event photography or videography engagement with Viewfinder Photography.

Viewfinder Photography retains full copyright over all images and videos captured during a shoot and may use this work for publicity purposes — including on the website, in prints, and across social media platforms. If you would prefer certain images not be used publicly, let us know in writing before your event and we will note the request on file.
Payment is due in three instalments:
If, in any circumstance, a client is unhappy with the service or final product, Viewfinder Photography will not be liable to issue a refund once services have been rendered.
We understand wedding dates sometimes shift. If you need to reschedule, tell us as early as possible — we'll do our best to move your booking to the new date, subject to availability. Cancellations follow the same terms as Section 4 (Termination), below.
Should the client choose to terminate this agreement, all fees already paid to Viewfinder Photography up to that point are non-refundable.
Any changes to the original agreement — additional hours, added deliverables, a change of venue, and similar — may incur extra costs, which the client agrees to cover. Viewfinder Photography reserves the right to accept or decline any requested modification to the contract.
Once photos are delivered, the client has 10 days to make photo/album selections by the agreed method. Selections made outside this window are not guaranteed — Viewfinder Photography is not responsible for data loss or any change in album pricing that occurs after the selection period closes. If selections are not made within the given time, we reserve the right to cancel the photo book from the package and close out the contract.
Edited photo previews are typically shared within a few weeks of your event, with full galleries, films, and printed products to follow on a schedule confirmed at booking. Exact turnaround varies with the season and the scope of your package, and will be communicated clearly when you book.
A great result depends on cooperation and clear communication on the day. Viewfinder Photography is not responsible for any key individual's absence, or for photographs missed due to details not shared with us in advance — we recommend appointing an "event guide" to help point out important people and moments to your photographer during the day.
Neither party is responsible for a failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control — including severe weather, natural disaster, illness, accident, or venue closure. In such an event, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule coverage wherever possible.
In the rare case of equipment failure, data corruption, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control that affect delivery, Viewfinder Photography's liability is limited to a refund of fees paid for the specific service affected. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Contact and event details shared through our enquiry or booking forms are used only to plan your event and communicate with you, and are not sold or shared with third parties beyond the vendors directly involved in delivering your booking (e.g. payment processing).
This agreement is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from a booking will first be addressed through direct discussion between both parties before any other course of action is pursued.
